Data You Provide Directly
Search forms on this site send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the third-party provider that supplies sponsored search results. We do not store a separate copy of those searches on our own servers. If you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them to respond.
Data Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems keep ordinary server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We review that information in aggregate to operate the site, troubleshoot errors, and understand which Antioch record pages are being used. Cookies or similar technologies may be used for basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How We Use Data
We use the data described above to keep the site available, correct technical problems, measure traffic, and improve content about Antioch, Contra Costa County, and California records. We do not sell a visitor list. We do not create individual visitor profiles.
Links to Other Websites
This site links to government portals, county and state records offices, library collections, and third-party search tools. Those outside sites have their own privacy rules, and information you submit there is controlled by their policies, not ours. That includes sponsored search results, which are supplied by a third-party company.
Who May Process Data
Hosting and support providers may process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We may disclose information if valid legal process requires it. Otherwise, we do not share visitor data.
How We Protect Your Data
The site is served over an encrypted connection. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for the purposes described above. Because Antioch People Search does not run user accounts, there is no site password or personal profile for a visitor to maintain here.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed to children and is intended for users who are 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor sent personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit certain personal data a website holds about you. California also regulates data brokers through Civ. Code ยงยง 1798.99.80-1798.99.89, including registration and deletion-access rules for covered brokers. Because we hold very little, most requests are narrow: we can search our contact messages and server logs and remove what we find. Use the Contact page to make a request. Public records held by Antioch, Contra Costa County, California agencies, or Contra Costa Superior Court are outside our control; correction or removal requests for those records must go to the custodian office.
Updates to This Policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
